Victims of Comics
Four-panel comic. 1: A dusty attic lit by one window; a cardboard box is drawn on in crayon with a red circle and a yellow creature with pointed ears. 2: Looking down into the open box at a red and white ball sitting in the dust. 3: A comic-book burst panel, blue rays behind the ball, with display lettering reading "SPARKO! I CHOOSE YOU!" 4: On a grey floor, a small skull with long pointed ears sits on a pile of bones, a zigzag tail bone beside it and the two halves of the ball nearby.

Gotta feed 'em all.

Psst. Pick me up.OK. Put me back.
Sparko's trading card, hung by a string on a nail on the dark wooden attic wall, sealed in a clear grading case. The red-bordered label reads "1996 SPARKO #001, 1ST EDITION HOLO, GEM MT 10". The yellow-bordered card shows Sparko alive, the crayon drawing from the box, smiling on the grass under a sun. The card reads: "SPARKO, 40 HP. GNAW, 10. THUNDER SKELP, 30. If left alone too long, its spark slowly fades. Weakness: ground. Retreat: none."
They say a sealed box is worth more. I have developed a genuine love for Sparko and want to print everything including my own collector cards.
