Victims of Comics

About

Sometimes maybe happy.
Sometimes maybe sad.

Victims of Comics is the longest-running and most successful webcomic nobody knows or remembers.

It ran as Victims of Circumsolar from 2012 to 2015. It wasn't very good. Circumsolar means revolving around the sun. People kept reading it as circumcision.

It evolved into Victims of Comics in 2016, with a few popular strips about how bad that year was and how surely things could only get better. After a few stuttering viral hits, and accusations of copying Cyanide & Happiness because I used the freely available Creative Block BB font, I retired again. I still came back once a year for nearly a decade to torment 40k people on my Facebook page with a reworking of the same Christmas Carol strip.

I also wrote a viral article on accidentally taking psychedelics called Biting the Bucket with Ayahuasca, recorded a 50-episode podcast called Blow-Ins in coordination with Acast Amplifier, and made that video laughing at Joaquin Phoenix's forehead in the movie Her.

Driven one day by a growing lack of creative control in my middle-aged tech job because of AI, I have returned to make something of my own like a child in the mud.

My name is Craig. I am Scottish. I live in Ireland.
